I also think if you watched the Fev Leigh game as well, it showed what a good side Fev are, Leigh were never in the game and never looked like even pushing them close. |

Mark Aston has said that Sheffield have ambitions for SL. What a shame they could only get 1,023 against us and 1,223 for a Sunday afternoon play off match against Halifax, who reckon to take good numbers to away games.
The RFL really must look at ways to increase crowd numbers in the lower leagues, as i think that without the travelling support from us, all the championship clubs will be missing their biggest crowd and payday and i would be surprised if any championship club will make the average crowd for SL inclusion.
Featherstone, another club with SL ambition could only get 2,000 for a grand final eliminator, somehow. a very good product in Championship RL needs to be re marketed and crowds increased, because the crowds for the playoffs have been appalling.

I enjoyed the Catalan performance on Saturday evening when they dismantled HKR.They played some lovely football which was a pleasure to watch.Steve Menzies at 37 was impressive and one or two of our much younger back rowers will struggle to atain that level of performance next season.
Wigan are finished now for this year I reckon.They face the French next and I wouldn't be surprised if they lost.It's Warringtons title to lose.
