Its funny how we don't have much of a production line for wingers.
Wasn't Johnny Gaydon a winger & Alan Presscott was here at the start of Cup Kings era. These 2 were decent enough down the flanks too. I'm sure they were both Widnes lads. Maybe wrong though.

Johnny Gaydon was Rhodesian and Alan Prescott was born in St Helens (ex West Park RU)

Me Dad said Joe Walsh played for Leigh in the 60s was from Widnes and played for GB on the wing. Obv didn't play for Widnes though.

Also, he said Eric Hughes played on the wing in a test match on tour in Aus.

He could well have done as he was a good ball handler and one of our faster players.
