Mick Burke Lancashire Cup Final against Workington.

Definitely this one - last minutes of the game, from the touchline, to win the cup. It's pretty much the only kick from the last 30+ years I remember vividly.

Jiffy from the touchline to win a Lancs cup tie v Wigan.

Mick Adams from the popular stand touchline over the sticks at shed end to win a televised Players No. 6 tie v Saints in, I think 78/79 to cap a late comeback.

I'd love to see footage of that if any YouTube experts has it and can upload.

 Cheesy

Sure it wasn't the Premiership? I remember it being a blistering hot day.

I'm no weatherman but it does occasionally get hot in early September!

The best goal kicks were the ones that didn't get over the crossbar, hit it, bounced back and we scored tries from them.

Mick Adams insisted he used to practise them. Cool

Wasn't it a drop goal attempt?

Or rather weren't they all attempts at a drop goal?

My memory is fading fast. Smiley
