After the few times I've seen James Graham this season I think he is burnt out, and will get smashed in Aussie for as long as he stays there.

He needs to stop thinking he's a half back and get back to being a prop. The aussie's will see him right no doubt.

I don't know, which is why I'm asking the question, but.................

Is Burrow the first player to come off the bench to win a major m--o-m award?

I'm talking Lance Todd / Harry Sunderland trophies or similar  here.

Spelly.

I think Tony Myler did when we beat Bradford in the 1990 Premiership final, he came off the bench when Paul Hulme got sent off IIRC

Correct. On numerous occasions on Saturday evening when Saints were attacking from Leeds' 10m Graham wanted to be 1st receiver and was looking to pass every time. A man of his size and experience should have walked over the likes of Hardayker, Webb, and Mcguire who were in front of him.

The Aussie requirement for a prop is simply to make his 10metres every time.  Anything else is a bonus.

Which is exactly what he should have been doing at Sts - why oh why they let him be involved with set moves is beyond me  Huh

I think a ball handling prop is a great bonus.  Look at Sorenson, Grima, Pyke to name just a few.  The trick is not to offload it every time but at the right time.
