It appears that Sale are interested in a ground share.

I thought they always were or at least it has always been said that the new stadium would be utilised by league (salford) and union (sale).

They are now in talks more seriously, according to the BBC Text

As soon as Salford council took over stadium project (someone had too) this was always very likely to maximise income!
Look at LSV who know have Leigh RLFC, Blackburn Reserves and Swinton. Sale were also looking there but Salford is best for them commercially and with Rugby Unions money with good marketing this could be very damaging for Salford as unlike some on other boards seem to think they won't get a penny for this as both just be tenants.
P.s. Wouldn't want to go watching a Union game there in the middle of December, so open and well...

Ground shares simply make sound financial sense for sports clubs these days. We are in a bit of a unique position in that with The Stronghold the club will have a revenue stream all year round. Did the virtual tour of the new ground at Barton and it looks mighty impressive. Why they want to increase the capacity to 20,000 is bizarre as I think either code would struggle to fill the 12,000 starting capacity. Unless they plan to hold semi finals etc there. At least they'll have a decent ground to play in. Wonder when Cas and Wakey's new grounds will be completed ?

Yawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn! Here own brain goes (boringly) again!
Not for the first time have I said this, so watch my lips!
1) It wasn't my choice that we moved to Sedgely, but I love my club, and I'll watch 'em
wherever
they play. Should I have spat my dummy out, saying "I'm not going!" or some other childish remark?
2) I'm (still) highly frustrated that our new ground is still in "ongoing" scenario, but until I hear from someone for whom I have a farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr greater respect than I have for you, that it'll
not
happen, I'll continue to look on the positive side! Tell me I'm out of order for doing that!
3) The whole idea of Agecroft is to return
to within the M27 boundaries
, and Barton is even further away from that than is the current Pinks' gaffe!

respect for me or not spellington, you and i both know currently there is no finance in place, and no plans in place. i dont care if you honour your apology to me or not when you kick off at LSV. i dont care if you have contributed to the joel tomkins poaching fund / sir johnny retirement fund as you paid sedgely park your money.
i just find it bizarre you had your best season for ages at the willows, and wont consider going to the new facility five minutes away down the road, that is excellent, even if just on a temp basis.

Oh brother here we go again!
1) Yes there are!
2) That was because of the squad we had (the same one that welsh wiz accused of cap busting!) and the superb way that we were coached!

So did you honestly stick pins in your eyes when you attended the games at Sedgely Park?
