Well at long last have taken some positive action. Just booked Liverpool-Nimes flights! Friday - Monday. Just over a ton. Few mates got it cheaper the day before, but que sera! Train from Nimes is about an hour and a half I think it said. So plenty of time to get into Perpignan early afternoon Friday. Cool

Frogbus do transfers from Girona to Perpignan approx £15.00

Just a point:

The Loret de mar deal for a week inclusive sounds great....but isnt the point that your going to visit Peripignan and enjoy that city and the before/after the game there?
The night before and especially night after the game in Perpignan bars with loads of other Widnes fans is surely what its all about? Not staying in a different country all inclusive. If you want a cheap beach holiday you book it when its actually going to be warm. For me its not what the trip is about. Though if it had been summer then the option would have become a lot more appealing. Maybe next year if we get summer!
You will be having to get the coach back to spain when everyone will be in perpignan celebrating a famous victory!

I guess its cheapness v being where all the fans are and enjoyign the city we are playing in.

The other issue is that Perpignan is a small town with not much life, which tends to close at 11ish every night. We are staying in Lloret and going to Barca on the Sunday

Apparently the Catalan official transfer bus doesn't leave to take you back until 11pm on the night of the game so gives you some time to drink in perpignan after the game which is good

and as the sleepy perpignan nods off.... the lloret de mar crew hit the all night bars and lappies
