Widnes lad Jack White 16 was selected to play for Lancashire U17's in the recent Tri Series against Yorkshire & Cumbria. The series went into a nail biting final game against Cumbria last sunday were Lancashire had to win by 9 points to win the series, after some fantastic rugby by both sides Lancashire came away with the win the final score being 28-16. Jack scored 1 try and converted 3 goals but with a little piece of fantastic play Jack went into acting half back and fired a ball through his legs to the winger who went into to score just five minutes before the end of the game securing the win for Lancashire, winning him the mom award selected by Lee Briers and Andy Gregory.
Lancashire had there awards evening last nite and Jack White won the U17's player of the series, this is a fantastic achievment and look out for him in the future.
