These are from my mum's old box of pictures.
First is Wigan players from the tour party to Oz and NZ in 1910.
Second is again Wigan players but does anyone know before which match?
Third is from the 1948 series against Oz (3 - 0 to GB).
Last is after the 1950 Cup Final but who is holding the cup?

As my dad was on that Wigan squad I can tell you it is one Mr Cecil  Mountford a New Zealander who was the Wigan captain .

As an after thought if you look at the small pics to the left you will see next to my grandfather with the challenge cup my father with the championship trophy taken the same year .

At a rough guess, Station Road.

It sure is mate!  Cheesy

The players are looking towards the Station Road end of the ground, with the scoreboard at the Pendlebury Road end behind them.

The point where they are stood is now probably somebody's living room!  Sad

I think the 2nd pic is when Wigan had 5 players selected for the 1924 GB tour of Australia & NZ.

Pretty sure that is Jim Sullivan in the middle and Johnny Ring on the right.  The others would be Danny Hurcombe, Tommy Howley and Jack Price but I'm not sure who is who.
