After a long wait while the committee discussed dual reg.

The main outcome was that players going to winter clubs from summer will have to stay with the winter club till that clubs season is over......and you should sign a trans/form.

With interest to my club signing on a Sat/morning has to stop i put it to them that this rule that only come in this season is not working
and is not helping clubs ...i ask if i could re sign ex players or lads who are working away and cant get to training nights and only get to us on Sat who have not played for any other club and we know that they have not....the answer NO..

Is there a there a limit to how big ur squad could be. And when the last date players can sign on. Regarding players staying with the winter club who have signed from any summer teamp I belive to be a load of golf balls. All involved knew players would want to carry on playing because they enjoy the sport that should have been clarified a long time bfore now to allow lads to be aware of wat the options where. In this town alone at least 7/8 to players who will/would be playing summer rugby have joined a winter team to keep their hand. Thats one joke that what was them lads supposed to not play? I am sure some may have gone the wids or birchfield. To at least keep some sort of rugby going if this told to them sooner. This aint a pop at u jim but to the information u have kindly put forward. As u know I support all rugby in the town no matter wat code or club

Any lads who have signed from the bears can return when they want there is no way they can be stopped from returning.

Plus the nwc is scheduled to finished before the summer season starts anyway so it won't be an issue.

I dont see how NWC can stop anyone playing somewere especially when it doesnt concern them. There will be am sure a lot of problems with players come febuary/march time.

Could be wrong but the way i see it is BARLA are backing the winter game and the RL are backing summer.

And BARLA dont want to see there league (NWC)fall to pieces at the back of the season if we get a mass exit back to the summer
i know we have only one team in Widnes playing summer rugby and maybe 8/9 players who would be on the move...but other towns there my be meny ...i dont know just an opinion.

Just out of interest considering the NCL statement that no further clubs will join Tier 3 for 2 years were will Bank Quay be playing?
The RLC for 2012 (final year) consists of
Warrington Wizards
Bramley Buffaloes
Huddersfield Underbank Rangers
Dewsbury Celtic
Kippax Knights
Coventry Bears
Nottingham Outlaws
Bristol Sonics
Valley Cougars
Hemel Stags
St Albans Centurions

Most of these will form Tier 3 Division 3 in 2013. I hope Bank Quay like travel.

And bearing in mind the RFL not keeping their promise of extra funding for travel, will be a very expensive season. No thanks!
