Whats the best series thats been on in last 5-10 years? I always find myself stuck for things to watch.

I've just watched all 4 seasons of Sons of Anarchy in about 2 months. My mate reckons if I liked that I will love The Shield. I loved Prison Break, though I think it could've done with ending earlier. They kinda dragged it out. Not watched Boardwalk Empire or Terra Nova...anyone else watched them?

I never saw an episode of Lost, but had people tell me it was amazing and although I've seen a few episodes of 24 I've never been gripped enough to go and bother to watch it start to finish. Others that have been mentioned are The Sopranos....never watched that either.

Any suggestions?

The Killing (original Danish version).  Even with subtitles, it knocked spots off just about everything else in the copshow/murder/mystery neck of the woods.  Killing 2 is also pretty good, as is the US remake, but the original is the best.

if you find it online, for me was the 4 series of underbelly, that the nrl commentators always go on about.

i watched season 2 before i seen the others but it doesnt matter every series was different story, the 4th series underbelly razor went back to the 30s.

if you like crime, underworld ,drugs and sex this australian series was great.

Oz can be quite graphic, but not bad.

Prison Break was brilliant apart from the 3rd series (only half a series because of the writers strike)

Watched the 1st couple of series of 24 and it's brilliant. I have heard that the 3rd is the best out of the 8 but all are excellent.

Heard very good things off a few different people about the Wire, the Unit and Dexter though I haven't watched any of these myself yet.
