Heard from someone that he was filling his car with petrol somewhere in Manchester today and told everybody else to do the same and he was paying!
Nuts but legend.

Went into Nando's at the weekend and paid for everyone's meal that was eating at the same time as him. I love the story over Christmas where he went into a pub in Peel Hall and played Darts for £50 a game and lost every time as he's never played before

I think he's becoming a modern urban legend... there may be some truth in the odd story, but I suspect the bulk are someones over active imagination

Pains me to say it, but FFS what a chap.

I heard he got stopped by the police and when they asked him why he had £5,000 in cash on him he replied, "Because Im rich!"
I think these are probably made up or overly exaggerated, but even if one or two are true, Its awesome!

I'm not sure, he does earn probably over £100,000 a week. Defiantly affordable

My personal favourite homeless Manc, is the guy on Portland street! Who the other week after a match, got talking to me and a friend and gave us a dashing rendition of '12 days of Cantona'
