I wasn't at the game, and reading all of the posts about how everyone played, I've realised that I haven't read Moore's name once. So how was he? did he keep his head? did he give away many penalties?

He did well I thought as just others stood out Moore. Wink Joking aside the whole team did well, and only Pickersgill was not upto scratch in my opinion. Wink Best performance from a Widnes team in years.I can't believe I am saying this but we played expansive rugby.Think it is down to great halfbacks and hooker. Wink

Very solid in the middle good distribution and did his job well, couldn't  pick out a bad performance last night was very pleased with what i saw albeit in a friendly. Hope the injuries are just knocks they were all walking round the field at the end so can't be too bad, well done betts and co on last nights showing.

Moore was good, the entire team was good.......I think we were so delighted by Paddy, and watching the partnership between Watts and Hanbury unfold, that few others got little mention!!  Cheesy

But in fairness it was a brilliant team effort and not one single Viking could be accused of not giving their all IMO

Happy days!

Really like him, brings the defence in the middle up quick and aggressive in defence and is getting better each were around the ruck (after 2 seasons behind Roby). With him and Watts we have two 'playmakers' who love a tackle and really lift the other players around them and won't give the opposition playmakers an inch!

don't forget scott was head to head with the 2nd best hooker in the world, and didn't look outplayed. he was as good as roby for the vast majority of the game and was awesome at dummy half with his quick and incisive distribution.

Its funny though that he has now gone from being our only real quality signing, to one of several potential stand out players in the squad!

Lets hope we are all thinking the same after the Wakey and Salford matches, nice to think that we do have a few players across the park that can do the business.
