i for one hope, the winter league continues !!
the whole rugby foundation was built UPON a WINTER SEASON!!
That does not mean that i oppose in any way, the summer league!!
But in any democratic society surely freedom of choice is the right option!!!!

Everyone has there own opinion but again u know spangles the bottom line is there was what 17 teams left?? And how many have left since then?? No disrespect to the sides left in winter but the standard of rugby will be very very poor and still games r called off due to the bad weather.

If the standerd of rugby we play is so bad why are you so disperate for us to go to summer?Huh

also if anyone will be sitting around with no games because of bad weather...it will be more so for the summer teams not because of the weather but because of the opposite ....good weather no games called off...in the prem you have 18 games spread over 9 months thats 2 games a months  Shocked...ok there will be cup games may be 2/3 but if you are not successful get use to sitting around.

I wont go into the possible shortage of ref's in summer we will just let that unfold....more games off.

when the summer game go's womanly-curves up we  with the NWC will still be there to welcome you all back....well some of you Wink

I'm not worded if u come summer or not as we won't be playin u I have saw the fixture list and there is games every week leading up to the 2nd week in nov. There is the war of the roses, league games, cup comp plus a play off after the end of the season like what happens in championship @ pro level and it shows no rest weeks at all.

Anyone know which teams are asking to join the Pennine League? Guessing Hollinwood and Higginshaw but unsure who else.
