I think there was enough said when we were joined on the pitch by the then Clr McDermott, Dave Parr, Steve O'Connor, Julie Gaskell, Alex Bonney et all!  Our club is a business with Stronghold members the stakeholders without them it is simple there is no club!  There is no prouder Widnes Viking supporter than I have been this week selling the dream to my colleagues of warrington I am actually starting to believe a lot of credit should be paid to your council as without them none of this that we are experiencing now would be happening.

The Council recognised that the Club is part of the community and a great facility for the town, and acted appropriately in what they helped to do.

Apropos of selling the dream I have just had a letter from a former MP who came to see me the other week in which he said that he had learned more about Rugby League and Widnes Vikings in half and hour than he had learned in the rest of his life!
