Crowd was another shocker I believe... if it wasn't for the travelling Wigan fans there'd have been no penguin there!

So they're not flocking down there, clambering all over each other to swell the gate to over 25,000 then.  Grin

Widnes fan in Salford crowd obsession shocker.

Actually my post was prompted by a tweet I saw from a Salford fan... went something along the lines of "lots of Wigan fans in, I hope all our fans are still queuing outside"

Why?
I'm not obsessed with Salford's gates. It's probably only the second time I've ever commented on them. If anything I'm obsessed with our gates. I'm more worried about what will happen if our gates fall than what Salfraud pull in. In fact is doesn't bother me at all what crowds they get. My post was just refering back to 4 years ago when their Chairman made that ever so bold statement that they would be turning fans away once their new stadium was built. LV's post just reminded of that, so I thought I'd throw it in as it was relevent to LV's post.

Crowd 2414

Total crowd for 3 friendlies 6500ish

OK they're only friendlies but that must be worrying. They're only expecting 4,500 for the SL game against Cas  Shocked

They averages just over the 5k last year so that prediction is about right
