If it was not important why do this???

http://www.widnesvikings.co.uk/article.php?id=6956

Who chose it?

In my opinion it was an opportunity lost to create/develop an intimidating atmosphere for a new Wakefield team and get more out of our speccy's.

Couldn't agree more, 10 pages of build up for a damp squib. Maybe no-one bothered to tweet (or whatever it was the club was asking for) any suggestions but there were loads of better suggestions on this messageboard  and don't tell me the club don't look on here.

They asked fans to choose via their official Facebook too and it had over a hundred comments/suggestions but then seemed to ignore the topic completely.  Waste of time.

There were just a few notes of the theme from "The Vikings" and I thought they'd got it right for the build up,but it stopped and went to something completely different. Sad

The theme from the Vikings only has a few notes thats why although agree the short tune was shortened for some reason- but it does work but then something has to follow after a longer pause I would suggest.

The exercise wasn't to my taste tbh. Mission impossible was a bit cheesy, The Vikings theme was good but they faded it with some sort of concrete drilling dubstep piece of spangles.

I Am the Resurrection would have been perfect if not a bit cliche.

Wakefield could have entered the pitch on "...stone me why can't she see..." then we could have entered on the chorus.

Never mind eh, I'm sure the neds enjoyed it.  Grin
