Does anybody know how to personalise the message alert on this phone had no problem doing the ring tone but no luck with the text alert

Can't see may more than 5k (hope i am wrong) at the Salford game but hey its ok we have 3 years to lose the rest

If it's like my HTC Desire... find the 'tune' via the Music application, then there's a Set As option that includes SMS alert

I have had to do it this way on HTC phones.

Connect the phone to your computer and make a new folder called Notifications
Put the sound file you want to use inside this folder
Download rings extended from the market
Go to settings
Go to sound
Go to notification sound
Use rings extended to select your desired tone

Hope this helps

Get Ringdroid from the Market place.

Will allow you to cut up any song you want in to message or ring tones. Top app.
