I watch the occasional game but invested 5hours of my life this morning/afternoon watching One of the best games of tennis I've seen. I was rooting for Nadal but Djokovic contributed massively to a thrilling encounter.

Not a tennis fan, but got caught up in the Murray / Djokovic match on Friday and knew this would be too goo to miss!!

Was a quality match imo, even though i was rooting for Nadal

To think the Women got paid the same for their 1 hour 20 minute final  Roll Eyes

But they have already said they would play 5 setters if needed!!

Amazing final, caught large chunks of it and the number of rallies that were world class points were unbelievable. It wasn't just hitting it back for hitting it's sake either each shot a great attacking or defensive shot.
Will take some beating as a match and you wonder if Murray has 2 of those types of matches in a row which is what he will need to do to win 1.

They could play 20 setters and they still wouldnt deserve the same pay, the standard between both sexes is a million miles apart and the pay should reflect that.

I wasn't defending it in the slightest!! Just putting what they have said. There are so many 1 sided final sets in a 3 setter in the womens game cos invariably 1 or both of them are knackered anyway! The thought of having 5 sets seems a bit of a joke
