I have been assured if I buy an I pad I will be able to watch the game on Friday.

Does anyone know if this is correct or does it come down to if it is being streamed?

If you subscribe to Sky Sports, I think.

Virgin media customers cannot use Sky Go even if they have the sky sports package, this service is only available to Sky customers.

You could watch the game on a streaming site ( i can sort you a link  Wink ) but im not sure how good a 3g reception you would get in a hospital, if the hospital has wifi you'll be sound.

If your hospital does have wifi just take your laptop in and use that.

I'm denied access to so many things on here but I'll have a fiddle about tonight and see if I can get a streamed footy match.

No wifi in this hospital unfortunately.

Thanks Mick.

Just tried to get Merseyside live on, but I am denied access.

I'll get a radio brought in, that's better than nothing.

Nothing to play a dvd on Yoda.

I'm a hopeless case, thanks everyone for your help.

I wanna hear you all shouting! Smiley

LL - how are you accessing TIW from your hospital bed?  Surely that is an internet connection?   Undecided

There's a tv, film, radio and internet button on my set.

I can get onto all the streaming sites suggested but as soon as I try to get further I just get Access Denied message.

Your not allowed to access those type of sites from the hospital bedside TV I tried it when I was in hospital getting my knee done as we were playing on a Thursday on SKY, I accessed the game through my Iphone through SKY Player, If you know anybody with a Iphone whos got sky player borrow that. You may have to stand by the window to get a 3G signal like I did but it's better than nothing.

If your really stuck you could borrow mine.
