This would also account for Cravens confidence in that latest SLTV video, in which he says can't wait to get out there on Friday or something along that line. No thought of if I'm picked, think he knew he would be in with both Watts, Briscoe and Flynn out. Sure I seen a picture this week of Flynn (on Anthony Watts twitter images) being treated with packs of ice on his thigh or groin area so maybe that is the reason he is out.

Gonna be that bit tougher IMO.

Watts not playing was expected, but Briscoe and Flynn not playing is a big loss not as confident as was about getting a result now

That is the official 19 mate.

Thanks, Kev.  I was being a bit tongue in cheek, though I had not seen the RFL page then. I am surprised it was not on our website first.

Even with the omissions it does look like a reasonable 19.

Here's my 17 from the 19:

Craven

Isa
Dean
Marsh
Ah Van

Hanbury
White

Cross
Moore
Kavanagh
Winterstein
Cahill
Clarke

Coyle - Can cover hooker, LF and I guess half backs (not that i want to see that)
Haggerty - Can cover in forwards and centre wing if required.
Pickersgill - Need Prop interchanges
Mullaly - same

Look good enough hope forward can get some hold on the game and let white and hanbury create behind them. Back line if working well are capable of causing Wakey problems.

Think we have to remember that we have 5 players missing from our squad here.  2 of them we havent seen yet but they will become important players for us over the season, dont think too many teams would be happy going into the 1st game with 5 players missing from the squad.

Well few lads there who wouldn't have expected to be and bow have the chance to get first grabs on a match day 17 shirt... All the motivation is their for them then!

Still have Hanbury & White in the haves, Cross fit in the pack and we all know Super Dan has quality!

whats with all the negativity. this was bound to happen threw the season 2 or 3 players injured at a time this is when we see how good our youngsters like craven etc really are. ME personally i like briscoe and have played agains and with hm but i wreckon craven going fwd gives us a little more. Hes faster and more of a ball handler than briscoe. just briscoe defence is strong. I gutted i wont see watts but im excited cos were back were we belong and we need everyone to back the 17 week in week out that betts picks.

I wondered why as well. We have not seen Wakefield play yet.  New team, new coach, in fact with new ownership they are almost a new club.  They are playing away on a new type of surface.  With crowd getting behind the team I can see us getting a clear winning margin.
