To every doom and gloomer, shut up its only been one game.  Theres many more rounds to go, don't judge on one performance, theres still these beatable teams still to play.  The result may not have been what we wanted, but there were still some positives to take from the game.  I don't want to have to come on here after every match, and listen to sack the coach this that and the other.  We're back where we're belong, and as Ray French rightly put it, be patient and don't demand to much from the team, this is our first season after all.  So I suggest you quit your moanin and focus ahead to the next game next week.

Calm down Mark - anyone with half a brain knows that Widnes are better situated (in overall terms) than they have been for years. We are at the pointy end of making the leap in standard this year and we will lose a lot more than we win. It is to be expected and would happen with a better equipped squad / coach that we currently have. These things take time and this season (and probably next) are a means to an end - a gradual setting up of a foothold in the division and slowly building on that. We will get there and we will become a force - we have the right set up and the basis to do well and we are going in the right direction.

Your spot on. dont judge us on one performance. We were not good enough last season and we looked the same again last night. People are entitled to voice there opinion.

This one horse town has got a SUPER LEAGUE team.

Can we at least be thankful for that?

We all want to win, good God everyone does but it just doesn't happen over night.

We had key players missing and a couple not arrived yet, not an ideal way to start a season.

Things WILL get better and if in 6 months time they haven't, then we have a right to start shouting.

Let the team know we're 100% behind them, we needed them and now they need us!
