We had 6 players missing tonight who would all be in the starting 17 - even the big club would struggle to overcome that.

Scott Moore - love his desire and work rate but gives away stupid penalties - that flop was a joke. He is the new Steve Pickersgill.

Weak bench tonight but can you imagine Kite and Mullally being the interchange for Cross (superb apart from the binning) and Kav.

Few decisions could have gone for us that didn't. Two turning points in the game, the forward pass and them scoring off it straight after HT and then at 22-14, Marsh not being able to score from Dean's kick through.

I don't think any player particularly stood out but there again I didn't think anybody had a bad game either.

Best player on the park for me Isaac John.

Best Widnes player was Danny Craven.

Diasppointed yes but was I given hope yes.

Mainly agree with you mate and Kite will bring more size and power in the forwards.Pickersgill is a penalty machine and is not getting any better.Ah Van I thought was the best player then followed up by Craven.I like Cross but his nothing to ref made the difference when he went off.

I agree, HH.  A little stupidity,  but all the players tried their best.

Great atmosphere, but the points margin flattered Wakefield.

Boys played well for most the game to be fair. Come on let's stop being so negative on here. Lots of positives to look forward to especially all the players who couldn't play coming back into squad Kite, Briscoe, Davies, Phelps, etc

For me the one thing that really stood out as a "must improve" area was the indiscipline especially the high tackles. People can blame the ref as much as they like but the ref doesn't high tackle anyone. The penalties lead to tries and hence the score flattered Wakey in the end  Sad
