Having watched it again, I think the fact he didn't play in the second half was the biggest factor for us

It didn't help but for me the penalty count, mainly due to indiscipline was the biggest issue.

I reckon all the penalties were fair enough,however Wakey seemed to be doing much the same thing and nothing given.

I completely agree, we lacked leadership and direction, white not good enough in the halves. Why did he not come back on? was he injured?
