Did anyone see the late programme on Sky Sports last night - missed first part of it but put it on and watched Agar and Betts interviews followed by Leeds match highlights. Think it might have been 'red button' programme repeated?

My point, did you see the state of the pitch? 75% Mud and sand to make it playable, players slipping, a few twisted ankles and leg strains.
Should be an official complaint about cobbling together a pitch like that just to call I playable and get money through the turnstiles!

I hope action is taken!  Roll Eyes

I wait to see the headline "Widnes Vikings are to complain about the state of turf pitches"

I know he was injury prone, but it was the rock hard pitch at Keighly, that resembled a ploughed field and dust bowl which caused the injury that finally saw the last game played by the superb Toa Koe Love, and i would sooner have a grazed knee than play on a surface like that and i think it was the same pitch on Sky last year which looked more like mud wrestling than Rugby League. Of course, i can not comment on how it is to play on, but it certainly looks superb.
