1st and foremost Thomas , wish you all the luck and a speedy recovery , rugby can be a cruel game.

Secondly  - what a suberb display from the young men.; some really enterprising exciting rugby played on the back of some hard hitting no forgiving go forward.

Simon Finnagan take a bow  - Selfish man who never stopped talking and working really hard for the team, helping and talking to the lads at every opportunity.

As for the rest of the team Gerrard , Smith and Davies where huge.Antone who critisises jack wants there galaxying head testing. Thompson was a workhorse as normal and Owens was as solid as a rock. The halves had there say and acko produced another display of good kicking.

Hulme caused havoc everytime he got the ball and missed nothing in defence , and that reflected in him having a hand in 4 of the trys. Brown will get a bucketfull this year playing outside this boy. Butterworth for 18 shows maturity above his age

the only disapointment for me was lulu - watched him at New Brigthon some months ago and was impressed , not his day today, this happens.

Top display lads - lets back it up on Thrusday.

How did Luke Willings go?

They all went well and Luke had a decent enough game although he was outshone by his fellow centre Hulme who was outstanding. My only criticism of Luke would be he seemed to pass to his winger before committing the defence which meant he never gave the winger much chance of getting away.
