Are attendance last night was given as 8,100. A great effort from all the supporters and the club.

Especially when you compare it to last years averages

Yes long way but if team improves then Saints,Wire and Wigan games could be sell outs in the future.

I agree, but my fear is those who came last night who were heard saying things like "Same old Widnes" then upping and leaving at 70 minutes, they won't be there next time round (unless we win away at Hudds)

Agreed mate and think need to look at coach and fitness levels.

I agree. You can guarantee that the ones leaving at 70 minutes were not here last season or any previous season since our last SL season. I was pleased to see so many there, especially given the cold weather and it being on telly, but lots of those will be the moaners who don't support the team when the chips are down.

Exactly we lost games against decent opposition a few times last year so in their eyes nothing has changed. Where i sit the regulars where saying the only reason they aint walking early is cos its the first game back in SL and wanted to show a little support to the team at the end.
