Great tweet from John S who has been covering the game at the stadium

"Lets nip this in the bud NOW. Pitch had nothing to do with it. Thomas was involved in tackle+players unfortunately get injured playing RL"

Speedy Recovery TC,

But don't go down the route of Lady Garden Mathers and post your injury on Twitter.

Hope Thomas makes a quick recovery.

I see Richie Mathers was quick to retweet:
@RHunterPaul @Rob7Burrow @RichardMathers : Wish tommy coyle a speedy recovery #widnesu20 game abandoned” I pitch is a killer !!

Looks like the recent comments + now this injury has got everyone worried.  I always expected people to start blaming the pitch as soon as anyone picked up a serious injury, but I never expected to be so soon. If we'd had 2-3 months of no-one saying anything, then people could say, well how come no-one else has been injured or moan about it.

So maybe dig it up and re installed new turf for next year?If not maybe an I Pitch rugby suit for the games. Cheesy

Not like Mathers to make an incorrect assumption about the pitch being involved in any way shape or form with Tommy's injury!   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
