The corrupt galaxyers in the British establishment just don't get it do they. They want us all to take the hit on our wages, bills, taxes, pensions while they carry on EVADING tax, fiddling parliamentary expenses and paying millions of pounds to the bosses of nationalised banks which are/have been broke.

that said, i quite like arry. Grin

£8m to bring that prosecution... yet it seems a decent lawyer can get you off with just about anything these days!

Does this make 'Arry favourite to be the next England manager again then?  Wink

Probably for the Euros, given the way Cappello's going about his business.

According to BBC news a short while a go its a rough £8m for the case to be brought to court over an estimated £80k 'mix up'  Those figures just dont quite ad up, especially when its 'Arry who told them about the money in the first place!

Capello said something he believed in, hardly a massive wrong doing even if it might not have been the wisest judgement. IMO the FA has got it wrong, either innocent til proven guilty, OR you would have a negative effect on the team with regards the press, team spirit etc etc and can't go. To say he can go, but can't be captain is ridiculous and undermines the manager, the law and the dressing room anyway.

You may not think so but then you don't pay his wages.

I'm not really that worded about England but even I think Cappello's not worth fighting for.

The FA have made a right cat's word out of the Terry saga.

How can they strip him of the captaincy, yet still pick him to play? Surely if he's demoted due to the possibility he has made racist comments, then surely he should not be considered for selection for the same reason.

I don't for one minute think Capello has not being informed/consulted about this either. Isn't his office in Soho Sq? He's looking for a way out and the FA are playing along because they want shut of him too.

The quality of the England side has never been so poor in my lifetime, The old guard have to go, we should be using Euro2012 as a training exercise for Brazil 2014 by taking all our best youngsters to play at tournament level.

Your right pops, they have made a cat's word out of it. Not just from a football point of view though. Have the FA prejudiced Terry's right to a fair trial by sacking him? Innocent till proven guilty and all that. I can't work out why he's gone now, was it pressure from the players? If so the FA have been poorly advised IMO and they should have let justice take its course.

The worst thing the FA did was get rid of Telly Venables (and for once I agree with Gary Neville!) the next worst thing they could do is not appoint 'Arry as next England manager although from his speech outside the court today it sounds like he owes Spurs one.

An appalling waste of public money by HMRC. Perhaps they might want to start pursuing some of the massive conglomerates who will do anything to avoid paying tax and seem to be very cosy with the revenue. They are an appalling organisation to have dealings with. The 1 man band and the small business live in terror of these people. No redress, complaints take months to be even  acknowledged. They are right and you are wrong. Thank God I'm skint !

Will milk-shakers at the top of HMRC who took the decision to take this to court lose their jobs , i think not .

They will still turn up at HMRC getting a good wedge, good pension etc etc and look for another scapegoat.

Neither is Terry.

I also don't get it with 'Arry - jovial cockney cove that he is - he should be in jail. He's been dodgy for years (the move back to Portsmouth from Southampton and the rapid fall in betting odds just prior to the announcement comes immediately to mind). Yet he is strong favourite for the england job (should be an interesting conversation with Levy !!). Interesting what actually qualifies for bringing the game into disrepute these days !!
