group will hear about the recent successful bid for Sports relief funds to help set up a 'Mersey Vikings' wheelchair tag RL team - this is a fully inclusive sport accessible to all regardless of age, ability, gender. The sport is growing in popularity with the likes of Bradford Bulls and Wigan Warriors having established wheelchair teams at their respective clubs, Trust in Widnes has been working hard to provide this opportunity for people in the Merseyside region.
